Labour & Birth Preparation Session
Thinking, dreaming & anticipating what your labour & birth might look and feel like?! It is natural to be excited, possibly nervous and/or scared all at the same time. If you have never done this before, then it is normal to feel apprehensive around what will happen.
I am here to help alleviate some of the fears, debunk some myths and misconceptions around what happens during labour & birth and help empower you along the way until you are ready for your baby's birth day.
What can I do?
I can provide a private one-on-one 2.5 hour session in your home or online via Zoom to help prepare you for your upcoming labour & birth.

When should we book?
I usually suggest we meet up around 32-36 weeks for the labour & birth prep session.
What are the benefits of a private session?
1. The session is unhurried.
You will have plenty of time to ask all your questions & have them answered by an experienced midwife with over 26 years midwifery experience with pregnant & labouring women - both low & high risk.
2. Reduce fear & anxiety.
I can help prepare you for your labour & birth in a way that can reduce fear and anxiety.
3. Feel relaxed & at ease.
You can choose to be in the comfort of your own home therefore feeling relaxed and open and not concerned about running out of time and not having all your questions answered.
4. Possible rebate available.
Rebates may be available if you have private health insurance.
5. Additional support.
If you have additional questions or concerns leading up to your due date, I can provide an additional follow up zoom call.
