About Me
I have been a nurse and midwife for over 38 years. The latter part of my working life has been spent working as a specialist birth suite midwife in a busy maternity hospital in Melbourne, Australia. I have supported many parents with low, medium & high risk labours & births. My aim is to help you achieve the birth experience you want.
I have recently changed direction slightly by offering health professionals support, training and education in Perinatal Loss (the loss of a baby at any stage in pregnancy). This is due to my work as a Specialist Bereavement Midwife over the past decade where I established a Bereavement Support Program supporting families who experienced the devastating loss of a baby either during pregnancy or following birth. This has led me further to founding My Pebble Urn, a compassionate business where I hand-craft clay urns for baby's ashes following cremation ... each piece is a tribute to a life’s journey, no matter how short, offering a sense of comfort and connection.
No matter your pregnancy or birth experience, I am here to support you.
